  1. It was foolish of Georgia to attack Russian positions in South Ossetia, despite it being within its own territory. Obviously, they must have expected their special relationship with the U.S./EU to give them some leverage, and kept Russia at bay. Obviously this was not the case.

Despite this, the reaction by Russia is a clear indication that they are now a belligerent country, and are not concerned at all by the opinion of the international community so much that it does not affect their ability to sell their oil/gas.

European reaction has been mixed. Overall, I don't think they get it - but then again, they've never understood Russia. The inability for the EU to present any kind of a coherent front is beyond disturbing, and it demonstrates a huge weakness.

  2. This may be the start of WWlll....It's going to be a hard push to defuse and the US should tred tightly.

  3. I think Russia went to far.

  4. Russia wants more Mediterranean climate in it's Territory.  They are also giving America a Warning, continue to show weakness by Electing Obama, and we will run our T-34 Tanks back into Berlin and crush all of the Secular Progressive Perverts.  John McCain for President

  5. Well theres no "Evil" and no "Good", just shades of grey, It was wrong for Georgia to attack, but also Russia pushed it a little too far, but the Georgians were punished and the Russian artillery has stopped, so thats a great thing. In my opinion though, I think Russia did the right thing to help

  6. Big problem.... Mesterows from USA.
