Could Palin be the first REAL VP representing the PEOPLE?

Note what Wiki says about Palin:

<<<After she resigned, she exposed the state Republican Party's chairman, Randy Ruedrich, one of her fellow Oil & Gas commissioners, who was accused of doing work for the party on public time, and supplying a lobbyist with a sensitive e-mail.[9] Palin filed formal complaints against both Ruedrich and former Alaska Attorney General Gregg Renkes, who both resigned; Ruedrich paid a record $12,000 fine.[4]>>>

  1. I'm glad he picked someone who isn't a stale old long time Washington politician

  2. Never heard of her til now!!!!!

  3. Love her.

  4. I think it was unwise for McCain to pick someone who is under investigation in their state for Abuse of Power charges.

I don't think she'll pull in as many female votes as he hopes.

She's under investigation, becuase the individual fired claims he was pressured by palin and her husband to fire the state trooper in question, who is her ex-brother in law. Hence, the investigation.

  5. Good question....interesting answers.....I think she seems like a nice woman and all but to me it seems like a gimmick pick. I speak as a rookie and politics and I'm sure my answer will reflect that. I just don't get why McCain would take this risk...he must've felt it was necessary....he attacked Obama all day about inexperience...What is the size and diversity of Alaska? I think you could argue doing nothing but witnessing how everything works and how people attempt to solve problems for 6 months in Chicago will give you the same amount of experience of actually being active in Alaska's government.

When I say gimmick pick it seems like a call to frustrated Hillary supporters. Makes it seems like this election is about themes more than actual issues. Obama and his change rhetoric seems to have had so much of an impact it cause Hillary to change her original slogans when she was going against him and now McCain is hollering change....but its all in image...it is still McCain...who cares about it being a woman or Obama being black...those factors have no value what so ever when you are selecting a candidate.

  6. I had never heard of her, but I like her. She was a fisherman!!

  7. Excellent choice.

  8. Palin was Mayor & Governor and she fought against corruption. She can also relate to the Middle Class personally.

    Great choice.

Biden = Ultimate partisan insider, the opposite of change.
