  1. What's wrong with her getting pregnant? If she didn't want the baby, she'd give it up for adoption or get an abortion. Instead, she is getting married to the father.

People need to stop being so melodramtic and obsessing over the smallest and most trivial things. It's ******* annoying.

  2. Actually, her being pregnant is not important to me. It happens all the time, no matter family background. However, I find it interesting that her mother has preached abstinence to school children in Alaska, yet this happens to her daughter.

Also, I can only imagine if this situation would happen to the Democratic candidate...how would it play out in the media and with the Republicans? Would they(the Republicans) rally around it, like they are doing with Palin's daughter, or would they put on their conservative hat and say that those people are immoral? It's something to think about.

    Be blessed.

  3. I think, "better her than me."  Then I think..."oh, wait...this is none of my business." lol

  4. doesn't bother me

sh's getting married and will keep the baby

    i like Sarah

  5. This is not essential - many children are and were killed in Irak -

How many people whine about that ???

(N.b. If I were american I'd for sur vote for dems -)

  6. It's most definetly a family matter and a personal matter among the family.  I do not condone underage s*x but it does happen.  It wouldn't make me ever want to encourage passing out condoms in school which only encourages promiscuity.  Sarah Paulin is a good role model and will make an outstanding VP regardless of what her daughter has done.  I'm sure she did not want it either but what could she do?  I believe that she does have strong family values and is a good moral person.  I'm sure the media and the Democrats will try to make this into a political issue but the fact is that her daughter is going to marry the man and will not abort or abandon the baby which is a far bigger concern in America these days.  I recall not long ago Obama referring to his own daughter and saying he wouldn't want to punish her with a baby.  Now that is an example of the system going down the drain in my opinion.

  7. She's obviously a FEMALE capable of CONCEPTION !!!!  The REAL question is, "How MATURE is she to be able to raise it responsibly?!"

  8. She preaches abstinence. She preaches no s*x education being taught in schools, and she preaches against any form of birth control. Now her 17 year old daughter is pregnant and Repubs want to keep it quiet by calling it a "private family matter." The hypocrisy is nauseating. You couldn't make this stuff up...............It's all about hypocrisy. To Decent down below. If this happened to a Democrat, you can bet your last dollar that Repubs would be full of righteous indignation, calling Librerals immoral and politicizing the issue. There's an old saying,"what goes around, comes around."

  9. I think that shows politicians are human too and not immune from things happening to them that happen to lower class Americans all too often.

  10. oh yeah.

and her husbands 2 decade DUI arrest.

    her family is ...

  11. I think it's much the same as the hundreds of thousands of other young ladies in the world that are unwed and expecting.  I also think it's a complete disgrace that people have nothing better to do than to put this out in the media to use it against her mother.  If Sarah wasn't a VP candidate, do any of you honestly think we would have ever heard about this?

I see your point about it being an issue but I think it has nothing to do with her mother's ability as a leader, I can assure you that NO family in the world is completely immune to this issue, I've seen it happen to too many people.  Under aged pregnancy IS an issue that needs to be addressed though and I don't know what the answer to that is.  Thanks for accepting the fact that it's ok for others to have a different opinion than yours, that's something we need far more of in the world today! ;)

  12. Why does that have to be an issue? Does it affect her in anyway other than looking forward to being a grand mother? No it doesn't. That is a family matter, not one for the whole U.S. to judge her on. She seems like a very respectable, intelligent, responsible person. And I'm sure her daughter is the same way.
