What do you think about Shawn Johnson getting silver yesterday at gymnastics at the olympic games?

Lots of people said that shw would get gold and Nastia Liukin would get silver and i thought that too. So Do you think Shawn Johnson could have done better? Do you think shes better than liukin? Are they gonna show more gymnastics?

I think that Nastia  did a way better job than Shawn. She looked more graceful and she really stuck her landings. I think Shawn deserved the Silver she had some trouble with her landings. Both girls did an excellent  job.

I think that they both gave it their best. I truly think that Nastia deserved the gold yesterday though, since she's so fluid in her gymnastics and had pretty much all perfect dismounts.

good thing there's still other event finals to see whether Shawn can beat Nastia to the gold

She could have done better, but Shawn isn't as smooth as Liukin....so The only way she'd beat her is if she got a higher start value and added some extra stuff to her routines.

I'm still amazed that Liukin didn't step out of bounds like she did before.

i agree that usually shawn would beat nastia.

but, i think last night nastia just wanted it the most.

shawn seems to just have a love for the sport and to compete in general, nastia has a need to win.

so yes, nastia dominated last night- but shawn has proven to get higher scores than her normally.

In my opinion, both American gymnasts (including Shawn Johnson) were judged unfairly.  The scores seemed lower than they should've been.  Both Shawn and Nastia did a great in the all-around, and I applause them for coming in first and second.  Shawn should've gotten a higher score though ;)  She reached her maximum level of talent.  Both Shawn and Nastia are tied for amount of talent =)

I do think Shawn could have done better, but she didn't.  I think she deserved the Silver Medal and that Nastia is the better of the two all around, consistently.

They both did a great job.. I'm not sure if nerves slightly affected the outcome of any of their routines, but they showed the world that they are true champions. I think they have equal amounts of talent (in different areas). In my opinion, they're both gold medalists. Shawn and Nastia are truly amazing gymnasts.

She could have done better 4 sure...But her and Nastia have different weaknesses and strongness...So Overall I think they're both AMAZING!!:D

We know she could have done better. Remember in prelims/semis - she was perfect! Stuck landings and all.

I think she is better than Liukin, just not last night. But, last night is all that matters so Nastia deserved it.

On any other day, Shawn would beat Nastia.

But Nastia was in control last night. She competed to the absolute best of her ability and dominated.
