What do you think about Shawne Merriman playing without surgery...?

and do you think teams are gonna be going for his hurt knee to knock him out for the season and possibly his career?

I think shawne merriman should get surgery because he is risking ending his career this season if he plays this season. I do not think teams will play cheap and try to cheap-shot Merriman but if I were shawne i would be very careful and watchout.
