south african people are so diverse and interesting. every one that i have met has mostly been a pleasure to talk with. its hard to generalize people in a country like south africa but I can say that they have come very far in ten years and that they can be contagiously optimistic.

so basically they are cool.

well, the ones who lived there first, or the ones who are non native, white settlers? i think real South Africans, the black ones i guess you could say, have endured much hardship and oppression caused by white settlers. thats all i think, not more, not less.

They are honest, open, friendly, very cool people  with a sense of humor like no one else in the whole world.   I know because I am one of them!

really open and friendly people who know what it means to enjoy life. I got my self-confidence in SA, now I see the world from a completely different perspective

Hahaha ignorance. Im south african and the people here are great. And by the way we are not all black or mixed. I am full on white and so are the majority of people i know.
