  1. I'm tired of the media blowing things WAY out of proportion.  I mean, you spend months with the same group of guys, day after day, game after game.

You're gonna have some arguments and spats; it's only natural.  It's like me bickering with my younger brother.

Of course, it would be better if such arguments were taken care of out of the public eye, but oh well.  Get over it, people. Fielder and Parra are probably both over it; yeah, they'll both remember, but as professional ballplayers they will move on.

I'm just pretty glad we have no problems with that either on the O's or the Rangers.

    =D

  2. It's inexcusable. Perhaps the police should be called and arrests should be made.

  3. i agree with Lou Gehrig Fan and That Guy!!

p.s. yes, they are family and family members have fights now and then but it is not very good to fight publicly.. and its just embarassing! you should take care of it in the clubhouse

  4. I dont really care about them fighting. I do, however, think its an idiotic and moronic form to let your anger out. C'Mon, They are paying these guys millions of dollars (Which I would not mind getting a small percentage of) to play baseball. That is every kid's dream and these guys are messing it all up.

Prince Fielder is still mad (I would be too) from that 4-game sweep at THEIR home field (Then again, its not called Wrigley North for nothing).

  5. Yeah it is like family fighting, but I think it's a little lower because they are teammates and are suppose to work together. The Brewers were having a meltdown. That team was not helping eachother out at all. Parra had a right to be pissed. Prince Fielder took it too far.

  6. If you've every been on a baseball team with guys for an entire year, someone is going to get on your nerves. Then if your having a bad day (Like Prince was) and someone on your team is only worrying about themselves when your in the heat of a pennet race (Parra), someone is going to throw some bows.

Luckily Parra realized if he tryed to fight Fielder back he would have got whollaped and Annihalited

  7. I think it sends a bad message to the fans, teams and other players about those players and that team.

  8. I hope it becomes a HUGE distraction in the Brewers Club House & doesn't provide a spark for the team like it did in Chicago last year when Zambrano & Barrett got in a fight in the dugout.

I don't think the Fielder vs Parra was much of a fight, Parra just took it & didn't swing back. I say we pull his man card & the 1st time anyone hears him say "I should have done this" or "I would have hit him back if all those other guys wouldn't have got in the way". smack him in the face & remind him it's on video & America has seen he's a b*tch

  9. Its like family fighting, when you spend to much time with someone you start to get on each others nerves no big thing!

  10. I can see how teammates can get on your nerves to the point that you want to just hit them, but you have to realize that you are a role model for thousands and you are getting paid an outrageous amount of money. I think there are better, more mature ways of handling your issues with someone on your team.

  11. You spend so much time with those people that they will eventually get on your nerves. It gets worse when a team is loosing and people start pointing fingers.

  12. I think that the big name players can get away with whatever they want. We all see how quick Michael Barrett was traded after his fight with Zambrano. Its not fair, because all one of these big namers has to do is pick a fight with a lesser player, and BAM, they are traded. Not fair in my book.
