  1. I loved that book...I read it in high school and that was over 16 years ago. We were learning about the Holocaust at the time. I learned how mean the n***s were. I liked Anne Frank and her family and I disliked the n***s and of course, Hitler. It's a sad book and it's hard to believe people went through that or that people put people through that.

  2. It was a very deeply disturbing, compelling story.  It was amazing to me that this young girl wrote so engagingly.  She captures this horrific stagnant boredom of living locked away in an attic, but she never bores the reader.  I felt deeply connected to her, and this just made the story so much more deeply tragic.

It taught me, not only the incredible capacity of human evil, but also the unbelievable capacity for human goodness.

Have you ever seen the movie, The Freedom Writers? (Not a spelling error).

  3. After I read it, I learned later that much of the book had been edited. When I read the most complete version there was, it gave a deeper insight into waht she thought and felt

  4. I learned that hiding from your problems doesn't help.
