Excellent. Unlike other many (all?) other ETFs it has Canada and emerging markets. The low expense ratio (.25%) is another reason to own this one. But remember that you'll also pay purchase and sale commission so if you plan to dollar cost average you may end up paying too much.

Pretty good world fund except U S of course.  It has a low expense ratio which is a big plus.  Also Nestle is one of its largest  holdings.  Another plus.  

Another Vanguard fund that includes the whole world including the U S that is not an index fund is VHGEX.  It is an open end fund rather than an etf.  You buy it directly from Vanguard.
