Good song in my opinion,

In the 60's were more protest songs against Vietnam.

Now a days, singers are affraid to sing against the war, because the government threat'em. What do U think ?

  1. I don't agree. Everyone thinks it's Bush's fault about the War but technically it isn't. When he was elected, Clinton left a lot of messes 4 him 2 clean up. If Young Neil thinks he can do a better job running the nation, I'd like 2 see.

  2. Not that impeaching him now would do any good.  Unless he decides to elevate the pissing contest he's got going with Ahmadinejad.

But sure, its a good subject for a song.

  3. I believe we need more men like Neil Young. Neil is a true patriot and it's great to see someone use their freedom of speech without being a pansy.

  4. Never heard it, but now I'm curious as to when he got elected to the House of Representatives.

  5. I think he's an entertainer trying to sell his product, and so he's singing what his target audience wants to hear.

What singers have been threatened?  Anything to support that, or are you just making that up?

  6. Who is Young Neil, is that a Chinese rip off of Neil Young?

Either way, Neil Young stopped being relevant around 1975.

  7. true

  8. h**l NO...but I do love Neil Young

  9. OUr government doesn't threaten people who speak out against it.  This is the USA you're talking about.  He's got a right to sing about whatever he wants.
