  1. thats a great idea! where will you open it? i will be a customer!!

    =)

  2. I personally wouldn't buy anything at a dog bakery but there are plenty of people under the misconception that dogs need grains and vegetables that would.  It is something I could see being popular for a short time but not in the long term.

Why not look into something more natural and appropriate - pre-packaged raw meaty bones and offal maybe???

  3. great idea!

if your doing a bakery im sure you will have tons of dog lovers there!

make sure you allow pets to come in thatt will make thm happy =]

and sell other things like "doggy cologne" i spotted in a dog bakery in NJ. dog collars, doggy clothes,

ilove doggy bakeries my dogs love them there safe and good for people to eat too!  =]

    best of luck =]

  4. Maybe look into this franchise opportunity........

Three Dog Bakery has been fairly successful.  And, it's nice to have a proven product to offer the public.  .

  5. GO FOR IT!!!! I wanted to do the same thing a few years ago, and to be perfectly honest, I don't know why I dropped the ball....but anyway...You don't need too many ideas except make the treats good enough, and healthy enough that even humans can eat them (actually that's a good twist). It's always good to be able to share treats. Dogs love the idea that they are eating "people" food. So if you were to do a recipe that's perfectly ok for people to eat too (not too sweet), you might be on to something. Oh and how about little tiny treats that are specifically made for pet meds. Something that you can hide pills in, (don't laugh...,just an idea). Good luck.

  6. There are places out there already like that, but they sell more than just bakery, like pretty much everything else a dog/cat wants or needs.  I think it's a good idea, but I think it will depend on where you open on how successful it will be.  Good Luck!

  7. That sounds like an absolute brilliant idea!

You could always make raw meat patty cakes? With little liver treats on the inside or something?

  8. Go for it! Especially if there are no dog bakerys in your area already.

We have only one dog bakery here (the Grateful Dog Bakery) and they boom with business. Lots of cutesy treats, nutritional treats, even doggy birthday cakes. They also sell things like leashes, toys, foods, etc. Some of their stuff is expensive, but it's good, and I always get a laugh watching the dogs drool when I take them in there =]

  9. I've been to a few and they are wonderful. My favorite has everything  from dogopoly to home baked treats. As well as bowls, clothes, and and doggie nail polishes.

  10. Theres a bakery in Taiwon for dogs, real tasty ones
