  1. I don't know how expensive it would be for you.  See if you can find some adoption agencies locally and ask them if they have programs in Africa and ask about their fee schedule and the process.

Adoption is a wonderful thing.  Read as much as you can before you bring the child into your home.  Get around other adoptive parents so you can be as knowledgeable and prepared as possible.

  2. It's possible, but international adoption is pretty expensive.  According to this site, anywhere from $7000 to $30,000.  If you can afford that, by all means go for it!

  3. you'll have to check the laws in your contry and africa. Some require a 10k or more, some might need you to be a resident for a while in the country,  you have to look into the two laws

  4. Its possible to adopt but extremely expensive. I am from South Africa and my mother would like to adopt a girl since I am the only one, beleive me its a process even though we wanted to adopt in the close by community its years to do papr work.

  5. Adoption is really expensive so don't take it lightly if you decide to. I think it's a novel idea and if someone can't have children it is an amazing alternate that helps both sides. It's done all the time, try foster housing first, that seems to make the adoption process easier and faster because you don't have to hunt if you like the child you are fostering. A friends parents have adopted four children they have foster parented. It builds a good reputation with the connecting agencies. Good luck!

  6. Check with your government or a few adoption agencies in your country to see what they have to say regarding the cost and if adopting from Africa is a possibility.  Some countries are closed off to certain African countries however, some African countries set down very strict guidelines to adoption and/or are closed off to certain countries.  As I said before, it's best to look into this with your local agencies.

    Good luck!
