never lifted a finger or taken the time out of their precious existence to serve this country? Man I wish there was a draft again, immediately. These people freeload at the expense of the blood of their fellow countrymen and women. They make me sick! How about you?

  1. Of course, but they blame Republicans for not signing up! How many of them are all for helping the poor but aren't signing up for the Peace Corps or Volunteers of America?

  2. I agree. All of these people ***** and whine about the war and how it needs to be over immediately, but they probably have no idea what it's like to serve their country and be a true patriot.

  3. My husband (and by default, so did I) spent 20 yrs in the Marine Corps.  I have friends over there right now and want them home.

    FREELOAD?  Don't I pay taxes?

    Nice rant.

  4. Let us know when you want to have an intelligent conversation about a serious issue.

  5. as some one who has served and given a family member to this war ,my brother your trash talking dishonors us i find your threats useless and impotent blah blah blah find a better way to get your point across if some one disagrees with you remember this is America and freedom of speech is one right we fought for so stop winning and do something to help that's real and give back since your all about taking .

  6. Sounds like you can use a little anger management but other than that I agree with you.

  7. you are a savage fool !!!! i was in the military,, i'd still be there if our government could make a strategical move that wasn't motivated by power,,,, i'd tromp through the plains of africa in an effort to make the world a better place to live,,, and i'd be willing to do the same in iraq or anywhere, but what we're doing in the middle east is assinine,,, trying to police a freakin war torn nation,,, we'd have better luck in detroit or st. louis

  8. Why does their service,. or lack of service matter?  That doesn't make the war right- OR wrong.  I've spoken against the war,  and I served, but years ago.  Does that make my opinions valid?  Or, does my opposition make the four years I served meaningless, cuz I'm against this war?  You are faulting the messengers, and ignoring the bull connected to this war.  As for the polititions, what makes you call them public servants?  They get elected, hold office for a while, and get pensions wildly better than the folks taxed to pay these"servants", and end millionaires.  Really selfless servants.

  9. To be fair, there are some (albeit a minority) here that are veterans and opposed to the war.

I have yet though to see any concrete or specific solutions to this conflict they and others so vehemently disagree with.  Just non-productive b*tching and lack of gratitude for the ability and freedom to sit in front of computers in the comfort of their homes or offices and complain in the first place.

  10. I, for one, thank you for your service to our country.  Admittedly, I cringe at the thought of myself or my child serving in the military, but I do some service and volunteering at a neighborhood level.  There are many ways for folks to contribute.

Ironically, it has been shown that liberals donate far less time and money to the causes they give lip service to than do conservatives.  Given their emphasis on helping out the less fortunate, I would expect the opposite.  Many of them consider their service to be paying taxes and assuming that an inefficient and bloated government can do the job better than they could.

  11. whatever!!!

  12. I am 49 & have a dependant child, I wear glasses, & have fallen arches (ouch!) If I could help, I would, but I am not sure what I could do! The wouldn't put me in the front lines!

I send care packages, & do what I can to send stuff. What do you suggest I do? I don't support Bush or his money making (for him & Chaney) war, but I don't dis the men & women fighting over there! They are doing what they were told to do.

  13. ...speak 4 yourself SLOAN...You the still brainwashed one...almost everyone in this country has a history of family sacrificing themselves or their lives for our Govt and our country...when is the govt. going to realise that one?

...they better start giving and less taking sooner than later...I think the people hav had enough.

  14. I support the war.

However, I do not believe we should institute the draft for this war.

Ideally, we should not institute the draft until there is another war on our soil.

  15. Having spent time in the military in my country, I can say that an individual dissents against the actions of their government is not weak, but a true patriot of that country.  Its mindless drones like yourself who eat the sh it they serve on a spoon, don't question and ask for more who are the most troublesome.  I am against my countries current military operations in Afganistan, as I, my countrymen, and the soldiers serving their country are being duped by liars, snakes, and hypocrites who would be our current leaders.  And unfortunately, the opposition is too spineless to be a valid option.

Dissent is an exercise of true democracy, what are you, some kind of fascist?

  16. I served during the draft of Vietnam. I joined the Marines.  We dont need a draft. What I would like to see is everyone stop blaming this war on the Dems AND the Reps.......and lay the blame at the feet of the Islamist Radicals who kill everybody in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD not praying the way they say so! God......this S**t of finger pointing from one American to the other American is sickening! Instead of acting like grown ups with competence you all act like third graders. That gives the third graders a bad name.  When are you all gonna GROW THE F*CK UP?

  17. It is all part of the freedoms the military protects for us

I may not like all the complaints, but back in the day I would have died to protect their right to Hate America as they do and would today, but too old.

  18. In a way I feel sorry for them. They are like lost sheep. If Mike Moore or Rosie O' Dumbass told them to climb the highest building they could find and jump. They would do it. Pathetic. They can't think for themselves. My example is this. Anyone that has an inkling of logic would realize that the President of the greatest country on the face of the Earth deserves respect. Even Clintoon and his lacking of morals had respect. It's fine to disagree on policy but to personally attack him as most of these foaming at the mouth libs do. They should be ashamed...

  19. I don't agree that we need to have a draft again, however when I hear of everyone complaining out our country and the President .. The first word that comes to mind is "TREASON"

A crime that in many countries is punishable by death!

Thank GOD we have freedom of speech, but some also take that as it's okay to show lack of respect.

I don't think everyone that speaks out about the war is a freeloader, many are hard working people with strong oppositional views ..

I was GO GET EM' when we first went to war .. we had 9-1-1 and many loved ones were lost because of terrors that came here with the mission to KILL Americans .. I don't bash our President or anything else ...  however, I am ready for it to get over too .. we have been there for a long time.

We need to find that Bin Laden Creep and get our boys home.

  20. r u talking bout the Bush administration?  if you are i believe none have ever served and just  Webb (D) has a son from Congress
