What do you think about baby names with the same initial as the mom?

My name starts with K and I am choosing between several names for our baby. One of them starts with a K. Would it be strange to name the baby with the same letter as my name or is it normal? I have several names so I don't have to choose that one. I really need advice on this!! Be honest. Thanks.

I don't think it matters unless you personally feel it would be strange. some people intentionally name their children with names that start with the same letter. Personally i don't think its strange at all.

i don't think it matters. My daughter and I have the same initials. If you like the name don't be afraid to pick it. It's completely normal

I don't see anything wrong with that. I have the same initials as my father and I always thought it was neat. Just don't go overboard. I once knew a couple whose names started with Br and they named their children the same, it was ridiculous.

My mother's name is Laura Keileen and is she has a girl (She's pregnant.) her name will be Leah Kate. And we didn't notice until it came down to two names.

I once babysat for a family that named their little girl the exact same name as her mom....a girl jr.  THAT was wierd.

Its fine especially if there in no rhyming or they are really similar names (Like Karen and Karina, or Kathy and Kaitlyn)
