I have this girl in my class (one of my bffs) who is HIGHLY charimsatic but i see her using it in a 'negative' way e.g. to get someone 2 do something for her becuz she knows that that person has very weak character/actually pretty much worships her...i mean i have to admit, i do that sometimes too, but...i dunno she does it like A LOT and most ppl dont realize it because shez really good w/words and therefore extremely persuasive...

I personally find it one of those rare gifts that can truly bring u 2 the top....but sometimes i have to wonder how much good this gift has really brought to the world...i mean, think about Hitler

and if you consider urself charismatic...do you enjoy using it?or at least, how do you feel about having this...gift as they (the Greeks) called it....

so if ur a lil confused about my question...just ur general opinion u dont hv to comment about my comment but if u feel the need 2 then feel free 2 do so

thank you for all answers :)

  1. Your bffs ; is not a charismatic person ; she is a manipulative and abusive person ; which is the total opposite of charisma . A person who is very charismatic ; doesn't do nothing and attract people to her or to him ; like honey attract bees Think about Bill Clinton and lady Diana . Those two were highly charismatic ; because they did not have to talk to you ; and you love them and admire everything they were doing

  2. I've known many charismatic people.....they are lovable, kind, and great to be around.

    I also enjoy watching charismatic celebrities.....they make me feel like I want to know them.

    As for your bbf.......she's taking it in the wrong direction, and people are not going to consider her 'charismatic' much longer.    You should clue her in on that

  3. If you are talking about the charismatic denomination, they kind of disturb me a little. But people who have charisma? They are just fine. I wish i had the same confidence they do. <:'^{

  4. Charisma is an extremely important tool for a leader or a politician. and I do believe there's a link between charisma and narcissism. By narcissism I just don't mean self-confidence but believing that, in one way or another, you're superior to "rest of the people" , therefore qualified enough to lead that people (or like in the case of your friend; make them do whatever she wants).

    However narcissism isn't in the same level or doesn't appear at the same form. Like the case in Hitler, his self-love turned into self-destruction; however Lady Diana's self-love manifested more as a humanitarian form.

    Just think it for a minute; we generally do not find people who are insecure or lacking self confident as charismatic. But  people who believes highly in themselves as charismatic.

    (I don't mean people who talks a lot about themselves, which is also a sign for lack of self-confidence by the way)
