  1. Yes! It would of made a the difference if you were there to talk to her.

I am suicdial myself and one time my life was saved by a phone call by my best friend. You could have been that call for your friend. All a person who wants to commit suicide needs is a friend - someone there for them and maybe your friend probally felt alone and felt like noone cared and thats why she ended her life

  2. OK hunn u shudnt commit suicide if ur friend is passed or not, god gave you life as a gift, and he dosent want u 2 waste it, he planned this 4 u so ur time will come 2 die.

  3. OKAY.

To whoever said it was your friends "stupid decision" is a total ****-off.

And to whoever said that you could of helped your friend is (possibly)wrong.

The way I see it, there's two types of suicidal people.

There's the ones who want to do it for attention, and the ones who can't control it. If your friend had talked about suicide and had sent of hints about it, than she was doing it for attention. And MAYBE you could of helped. But ONLY MAYBE. If she did it out of nowhere, then you couldn't of helped her.

About 6 months ago, I tried to overdose on medication.

When I look back on it, I see that I wasn't really thinking about what I was doing, and just kinda did it. And now I feel guilty for trying.

Your friend probably feels more guilty than you do right now.

You know, sometimes there's just nothing you can do.

Don't feel guilty about it. You need to just think about how good it will be when you can finally see her again. Live a good life, and make your friend proud of you. She's gonna protect you whever she is.

And don't remember her as the friend who killed herself.

Remember for the good things she did, for the good person she was.

  4. Im sorry for you. Don't feel bad your friend made a stupid decision to throw her life away. Nothing you could have done.

  5.   You had nothing to do when your friend commited suicide. When you have depression. It takes control of your mind. You can not think straight

and you do stupid things.I learned that there are many people that suffer with depression. There are many doctors that treat depression with medicine. Please do not feel guilty about your friend that commited sucide. I hope this answer help.

      Good luck

  6. I'm so sorry about your friend. Please don't feel as if it was in any way your fault. Depression is a really lonely place and sometimes there is no way to break the barrier that person put up.

I could never do it because, to me, it feels selfish. To know that my family would have to deal with it after is heart-breaking and more than reason enough to keep going. I've went through a few dark spells in my life so far, so I'd have to guess you have to be utterly depressed to do that.

    Hope that helps.

  7. First I am so sorry! I know how hard it is to lose someone you love.  I don't think that you should over analyze the situation. The loss of a life is always a tragic thing, and I know that there have been times in my life where I've wondered if I could have done something more or differently. Unfortunately sweetheart what's done is done. The best thing that you can do is to grieve your loss move on from the feelings of guilt and make yourself available to your friends.

Reach out to those you love and treasure every single moment you have with them

    Namaste

  8. I ask myself the same question about the friend I lost in December.

Don't blame yourself; it makes grieving so much more difficult.

Understand that she is happier now.

Some people it doesnt take much.

Even sometimes just depression over a relationship can do it.

    Sorry for your loss

  9. I do not think that you would have been able to make a difference. If your friend wanted to talk to someone she would have called you. You will ask yourself for a long while if you could have helped. it is a part of the natural process of grieving. Ae you start to heal, you will be able to come to the realization that nothing would have changed the outcome of your friend's decision. Just remember what you loved about her and not the end of your friendship. Use this experience as a voice to others who might be considering suicide, you can let them know there are other options.
