What do you think about dead beat dads ?

What do you think about it when you meet a guy like this who doesn’t even call his kids on their birthdays.

told his teen never to call him again and blamed them for everything.

anybody... btw im not talking about deadbeat moms bc i wanted ur opion on deadbeat dads... i know moms can be like this too..

I think it's horrible. I have 3 kids who see their dad alot and he says he loves them but he never paid any child support. Well, only when he was forced to. He went to jail several times for not paying. What he doesn't realize is that I was a single parent and needed that money to buy my kids clothes, food,haircuts, shoes, for school functions, etc. He has no idea how much it cost to raise kids. I begged him for help, threatened him, let him go to jail. I am now to the point where I think if he can't even help financially at all then he doesn't really care about them. He's a loser and thats what deadbeat dads are. Some will regret it someday, some won't. Its so sad.

I had a biological father like this (sperm donor in my eyes), but my step-dad raised me as his own. I never gave a second thought to him or where he might be, etc. He didn't care about me and I learned to not care about him. Hope things will get better.

Dead beat dads in my opinion are the scum of the earth !

I can not stand them with a passion !! They help to bring these kids into the world but yet do not want the responsibility that goes with them .

And the sad part is is that the kids are the ones that have to pay the price . It absolutely makes me sick !!!  And yes there are a lot of moms out there like this too and I feel the same way about them as I do the dads .

My ex husband is one of them . He never called the kids on their birthday , Christmas , Easter , or even just to call and see if they were ok .

He even had the balls to call his 8 year old daughter a w***e !

You do not even want to get me started on this piece of S**t .

I wish there could be a way of telling that this is how they would treat their children ahead of time so they could be spayed or neutered before hand .

one day he may end up regretting it and it will be HIS fault....... his day will come to be punished... just let him be a deadbeat dad.........

I have nothing good to say about dead beat dads.....I know some dads have to deal with bitter ex-wives, but a dead beat dad seems pretty selfish to me.

Kids don't ask to be born, and certainly not to someone who made them but has no interest in them at all. To blame your children for whatever is cowardly in my opinion. If you can't be a decent dad, don't become a dad in the first place.....
