  1. I think....I want him to fall out of the chase and make room for David.

    Yep. That sounds right.

    I think he's ok.

He's not as good this year

  2. He's has a very immature personality who has made no progress on "growing up" since last year.

  3. I like Denny he's not in my top 5 but I still like him (he's my daughter's fave) but I do think he has an attitude and he gets really upset when things don't go his way but to me that shows a passion and shows how much he cares so I can't fault him for that I just think sometimes he needs to think before he speaks like when he put his crew down but hey who am I to say cause it all changed with them last weekend so maybe it lit a fire under them!

  4. I really do like Denny but there is something fishy about some of the cautions that he has brought out this year.

  5. I don't know about Denny Hamlin.  He's never been in my list of favorites or least favorites at the Cup level.  I thought, after Michigan, he was shaken up, but, his results at Bristol proved that to be wrong!  As far as attitude, he sure has one, as do the other guys at Gibbs.  But, he doesn't seem like a bad guy.  I also wish he ran more Nationwide races... I used to like him in the Busch series.

  6. Denny "throw my team under the bus" Hamlin is a good driver but definitely needs to work on his teamwork skills. #1 UNSPOKEN RULE in NASCAR when you have a bad day...don't blame the team unless you drive for a crappy team. But he drives for JGR, one of the better teams this year. You don't bite the hand that feeds you. I have heard that there has been tremendous FALLOUT from his comments at Michigan....but they'll regroup. But I think the good finish at Bristol will mend all the wounded pride. Think before you speak Denny. Please note I am not bashing him or any of his fans...just think his comments were made in poor judgement. But he'll rebound....good caliber of driver good caliber of team. They'll probably be better off for it---make them stronger in the long run.

  7. I really think his attitude has gone down hill. For a 2nd year driver he acts like he has been around forever.

  8. I think he is amazing, I've been a fan since the beginning but he needs to step up his act. He can't keep this up and expect to be in the chase, well the bristol 3rd was nice. I'm a fan through thick and thin but hey, people have their off days and even seasons at times.

  9. i think WTH!!! when he does something compared to how he was in 2006

  10. I thinkn he is having a better attitude even though things are not always going right. He is much improved and will do great things!

  11. Denny impresses me more and more each year. He has a positive attitude, appreciates what he has and what he's been given, and works hard to prove that he deserves it. He's gone from being a guy that no one really respected to a driver that everyone has to respect, simply because of the fact that he's proven how talented he really is. Go Denny!

  12. I really liked Denny Hamlin last year (attitude wise and driving wise too,) however, this year his attitude has gone way down hill.  Blaming his team, crew, and everybody but himself when his car has a problem or something does not work out.  I think his skill as a driver has improved even from last year; I would just like to see the attitude go along with it.

  13. Although he often displays the petulent attitude of a 10-year-old, I've always had a warm spot in my heart for him. He can drive the wheels off a car and: he blows a right front, some idiot hits him from any side, his mechanical components (not his, his car's) explode- what's a guy to do? He had better luck last year, but we all know luck floats around and lands somewhere (99).

His driving doesn't offend me like SOME drivers who believe they've won the championship already. He seems beat down and feeling like he might as well give up, but every year it's "somebody". Yes, he's aggressive. He's young with high emotions and he's driving for his job.

All in all, I'd have him over for dinner!

  14. Not much to be honest.  He's acting like a sniveling little brat.  He keeps it up and he won't  have his team wanting to work very hard for him at all.  Denny, it isn't always the team, maybe it is YOU.  Perhaps you aren't nearly as good as you would like to think you are.. But grow up.

  15. I THINK HE'S A PUNK
