  1. I love them.  I drink one almost every day.  Aside from the taurine and other "energy" supplements they add, they contain a lot of useful vitamins.

  2. I think that Energy Drinks are a waste of money - they taste nasty, are high in chemicals, sugar and caffeine and have no real nutritional value.  You can get the same energy boost from tea or coffee - they are cheaper and, in my opinion, taste better, too.  If you think you need the electrolytes, drink some Gatorade or make your own.

  3. Way too much sugar. Its false energy. Then you crash...usually hard.

  4. They do nothing for me personally, despite the fact that I've tried almost every single on in existence. On top of that, they taste terrible. I could understand if they tasted GOOD, then I'd actually just buy them to drink anyway, but no, I hate them.

  5. My opinion of energy drinks is that they are a great way for the companies to make money and the public to waste money. A person who eats a proper diet, drinks 8 glasses of tap water, slepps 7-8 hrs a night  and supplements with a daily vitamin has no need for an energy drink.

I do agree that one might need some electrolyte replacement when extremely physically active but that can be made at home. 1 quart water, 1/4 cup white Karo syrup, 1 teaspoon salt and a small amount of jello powder for flavor and color. That's all that is in Gator Ade. A Physician gave me this recipe when my daughter was ill. I was given it again in nursing school and later read an article where it was used to help hydrate children in third world countries by medical staff. Power drinks are no More than expensive water. Power drinks are also adding to waste on our streets as many just throw the un-recyclable bottles on the ground and they are filling our landfills.

Enery drinks that contain caffeine are a health risk to the heart. That fact you can research.

That's all I have to say about that ( my apologies to Forrest Gump )

  6. Most so-called energy drinks are mostly sugar and caffeine.  They may make you feel more wide awake temporarily but they don't really give you a lasting boost.  Taking vitamins and drinking lots of water would be better for your health.

  7. I don't much care for energy drinks. They are loaded with too much sugar and they do not give me energy. My husband is the one who likes them and some of them have alcohol in them.

  8. They're bad for you and they taste horrible.

  9. theyre terrible and if u drink them regularly ull die from extremely high blood pressure.

  10. I think Rockstar! That thing is strong! =]

  11. i think that energy drinks taste good

but they are very high in sugar soo when u drink one

u get an abundance of energy but than you crash meaning u getting very tired and feel lazy soo energy drink i think r bad for u even though they make u having energy they make u than sleepy and r very high in sugar

  12. they are horrible. you body does not need any more energy than it already produces. you should get a good night sleep, and live off of natural energy. the sugar in energy drinks is fattening. also, it doesnt really give you energy. it give you sugar rush, and then you have a crash after. There are some healthier natural energy drinks, you can find in a health food store. but, the drinks like red bull, and monster are no good for your system. hope i helped! im sure you'll get and a on the prodject! =)

  13. nos or rock star give the best boost for me. i love energy drinks. taste great and are a great pick me upper.

  14. By energy drink if you mean like a red bull, well it's not really the calories you would get from it that will make you peppy its just stuff like caffeine stimulates you making you feel energetic but it just drains the juice out of you in the long run.

The best sports drink would one that is isotonic, which means has the same content of sugar and electrolytes in your blood, iso=same , tonic=strength
