By this I mean harvesting energy from hamsters running on wheels. And if they don't run we can zap them with a tazer. On the otherhand, Do you think this would be a social issue with some people?

  1. actually, wheels for small children is the future, especially with all the ADHD kids we have in this country !!! I wish I had one....

  2. I consider that to be a little abusive.

  3. I say leave the hamsters alone and make wheels for fat people and migrant workers. BANG!! just solved three problems in one solution: obesity, illegal aliens and energy crisis. God I am a genius. Im gonna ask this as a question so make sure you answer me.

  4. wouldn't work...the hampsters are not strong enough relative to the their size, and space they require, or the energy it takes to sustain them.....so it would be very inefficient in producing energy.

Now if you could somehow harness the energy of fleas or ants.... maybe, but it would likely take trillions of them to produce a single kilowatt.  The amount of energy used to construct such an elaborate micro bio generator would also likely be greater than the amount of recoverable energy.

  5. Already been done, have you looked under the hood of a Civic or Metro?

  6. if you had enough generating wheels and lots of hamsters I suppose it would work but why waste the energy on a tazer to get them to go faster during peak power consumption times throw in a cat or two to really get the little guys running

  7. Well, why don't we put you on the wheel, and when you don't run we'll zap you!!!

Now, do you think this would be a social issue with some people???

  8. i think it's a good idea, except environmental and animal freaks would go crazy. How about this one instead:another idea?No offense.
