What do you think about him?

Question

I've had him for about a month

His pictures don't really do him justice, hes not very photogenic you see. its somewhat unfortunate.

Also he looks very short in the pictures, while he is actually very tall: 17.1 and yes, he actually IS 17.1 unlike some people very rudely said before. he just looks very short in his pictures, because he is long.

Honest opinions please.

hes not pigeon toed or cow hocked, the pictures may make him seem that way.

also, im sorry for the size of the photos they are kind of small.

Like the answer above says, he does have a lovely kind eye and the shape of his head is pretty good. It is difficult to critique his conformation as the photos don't really show him. It would also be nice to know how old he is. On the whole he looks pretty good.

Well he is TO photogenic! He is sooo adorable and sooo cute! I really REALLY like him. He's got an amazingly sweet eye and a gorgeous head structure! His socks are super cute too! The only thing i see is that it looks like he's got a hay belly in those last 2 pictures. It could just be the pictures though!

Never let anyone tell you your horse is ugly, un-photogenic, or anything negative! He is amazingly beautiful and lovely and you're so lucky!

Keep riding and loving him. He looks like he worships and adores you!

He has a VERY sweet expression and looks like a pretty good mover.  I love the last photo, where his hind leg is up at the same angle and height as his fore.  That is how horses SHOULD move (as opposed to dragging their hind legs along and skimming the ground with them lazily).  He looks great!

I can't really judge his conformation very well with these shots, though.  For that you'd need a pic of him from the side, untacked, on level ground standing square.  Also one from the front (square on level ground) and the same from the front.  From what I can tell, he looks good.  Strong, substantial hind end, nice shoulder.  His legs look a little short in the second to last photo, but I am certain that it is due to the angle at which the photo was taken.  

He's BIG - is he a warmblood of some type?

I definatley think he is SUPER handsome ! :)  A little long, but in the last photo he seems to really compose himself well.  And he definatley looks as tall as you claim in his photos.  And photos are always deceiving.  But all in all, he is a handsome dude ! :)

i think he is in good shape. I have been to several different classes and several different camps and i think he is one of the cutest horses i have ever seen. very PURTY
