Lots more links than this one check them out.

This has everything to do with her executive experience and management style and nothing to do with her personal life.

The dairy was in trouble. Her advisors told her to shut the dairy down, so she fired them. She set up her own board of directors and then proceeded to drive it deeper into the dirt.

  1. Frightening. But we can take a fatalistic view and say, a promised few more years of Republican leadership like this will bring us down and then there will be no way for the US to go but up.

    Think positive.

  2. lol.  The Matanuska Maid dairy has been in financial trouble since it's conception.  You cannot grow corn here to feed the cows, so it has been heavily subsidized by the State...always.  Still, it makes milk a lot cheaper than barging it up from Seattle and needs to stay in business.

Andrew Halcro lost to Palin and is still whining about it.  His blog is hardly unbiased.

  3. Sounds like they have found their kinda "GUY"!  Those Neo-cons are going to have us for breakfast, lunch & dinner if they get in again.

Not just Dem's ALL of America.  The evidence of the last 8 years and McCain in lockstep with them (going down following Bush & Cheney with Gustav) is one of the indication.  Now all of this c**p with Palin.  When are Americans going to wake up.

  4. so whats your beef the Dairy shut down.

  5. Shocking Sarah's executive experience seems to be about as good as her maternal skills.

  6. How dare she try to save jobs.

This is an outrage those people need to be put on welfare rather than being productive.

    Get a grip.

There is far more to this story than just one headline.

  7. Sounds like Clinton's and the Whitewater scandal, the medical care s***w up, and the travel agency mess, the suspicious deaths of two Clinton staffers, the bombing of an aspirin plant, missing Osama Bin Ladin, but somehow not quite as critical.

  8. Instance of a Republican supporting a socialist program and evidence that socialist programs rarely fare well.

  9. It's a business so in a Republican's eyes it deserves millions in welfare as long as they get a piece of the pie

  10. If she had a long and distinguished record, this would be seen as relatively trivial.  But under current circumstances, each example of incompetence (and/or corruption) counts a lot.

  11. While reading this I couldn't help but think of George Bush. Her "executive experience" shows that she runs Government exactly like him.

  12. And now with the skyrocketing expenses for airfrieght the Alaska residents only wish they had their own dairy source. She was right to keep it, but they really should have made it sustainable, instead they took advantage of Washington states market and their own product suffered. Given that she isn't a farmer and had to rely on the advise of others, I won't hold this against her.

  13. "drive it deeper into the dirt"? Your words? Is that a disclaimer?: that it has "nothing to do with her personal life" I just want to make sure that I understand the question.So.... I think she tried, and you're not gonna give her any credit whatsoever for that. Are you? Businesses fail. I've experienced that myself. It doesn't mean that I'm a failure. Because if you look at my successes, I'm d**n good. And so is Palin. Her's is a great success story...and getting greater.
