What do you think about hugh hefner, the founder of playboy?

is it me or is it that when a young woman who has a successful career come on the scene and has something going on for herself other than looks, why is it that hugh hefner and company wants her to pose for playboy? i know for a fact that, amanda beard, an olympic swimmer posed for playboy....she didnt have to pose for playboy because she has a lot going for herself anyway. true enough the women can make their on decisions and do what they choose to do but, i dont think they go out looking for hugh hefner , i think he and his people looks for them. yes, hugh hefner is successful but, i think that he is a old pervert. i just want to know what do you think?

yes but a very rich pervert. hes doing it because he can, and why shouldnt he? any other old man who had his lifestyle would do it.

you only get one life, and hes doing what he wants with his. i dont think hes stupid either, he knows hes an old man and he knows no-one would look at him twice if he wasnt who he was, but hes doing it anyway because he can.

they also want a young woman with looks to pose for their magazine because that is exactly what the magazine is about- beautiful naked women. which in turn sells millions of copies around the world each year. so basically all these millions of men are also perverts, not just hugh hefner.

would a man seriously buy playboy if it had an ageing 20 stone lawyer on the cover? of course not. thats why they want these women to pose for them

and if they want to, then why not? they get paid enough money to go on and be able to do something they really want to. if you bother to go on the playboy website and read about the playmates, yuoll be surprised to find there are some educated women on there. look at bridget his girlfriend. she has a master degree but this is what shes chose to do. shes having fun and makeing money until her looks go and then she can go and have a 'normal' life, with lots of money as well.

at the end of the day, there will always be millions of men who want to see naked women. and if these women want to take advantage of these men, then why not?

Playboy is probably the most tasteful nude magazine out there.

Women who pose for it aren't doing it because they're "s***s" or anything, in fact, it's a compliment. People wanna see you naked 'cause you're gorgeous, that's the ultimate physical compliment, IMO. Besides, some of the most successful celebrities have posed for Playboy like Marilyn Monroe, Drew Barrymore, and Farrah Fawcett.
