  1. No, it's not bad at all.

    I like Toronto. A lot.

    =)

    It has an insanely low crime rate for a city of its size o.o;

  2. I think it would be great. Unfortunately I am stuck in PA.

  3. You could live here all your life and the worst thing that happens to you is you get stuck in traffic jams. Its pretty safe.

    Toronto is a city that is always changing, and developing.

    Toronto is described as a "city within a Forest" because of the millions, billions? of trees we are proud to have to add oxygen (and some shade in summer) and soak up some of the CO-2.  Toronto has hundreds of parks and hundreds of kms of cycling trails,

    Toronto is a city of sharing, multiculturism, lots of variety of foods and restaurants.

  4. i love toronto! it is my home and i wouldnt have it any other way! it is not a bad city! the crime rates are low and u are actually very safe. toronto is a beutiful city with much to do! but like every city also has its downs!

  5. I came from a small town and this was a very big awakening for me simpily because there is no hello how are you,smile or what ever, I was confused but now that I have been here for nearly a year I am enjoying it.everyone has his or her life to live and I am very comfortable jumping on the bus and reading the paper or looking out the window with little contact with others.as for all the bad news I think there are a lot more reporters trying to climb the corperate ladder that they crawl over each other trying to get headlines.we live a block away from where most of the stuff happens and if it was'nt for the news reporters we would never know anything happens

  6. I live in MIssissauga which is beside Mississauga. I go there very weekend. It has it's ups and downs but like theres 13 million in toronto and like 1 person gets shot a month or something and they don't die and there's 13 milllion a hour so it's not that bad.

  7. I don't like the rows of identical houses or the lack of greenery in the downtown core.  I like Vancouver better.

  8. Toronto is... awesome.  It's got its share of troubles, but it's a vibrant, alive, unique, diverse city.  The real estate prices have gone through the roof here and are not slowing down - that's gotta mean something.  Look at its downtown - it's thriving, unlike in so many American cities whose downtowns are basically dead and everyone's moved into the 'burbs.  There is no denying it - we rock - despite the efforts of our horrible municipal government to turn us into a real dump.

  9. 'Rows of identical housing'?  What city are you talking about?

    Toronto has beautiful, treelined streets with historical homes that are far from identical.  You'll see cookie-cutter homes in the suburbs of Toronto but not in the city.

    Toronto is one of the best cities in the world.  And I'm not just saying that because I'm a Torontonian--it's a fact.

  10. Toronto is fantastic.  For a large city Toronto's crime is miniscule.  The press always hypes things up.  What you need to do when living in Toronto is don't let the beast eat you alive.  You need to take the best and leave the rest.  Go for bike rides in the park, sunbathe at the beaches, don't go to the mall, walk down Yonge Street on a Friday night, shop at Kensington Market, go to Honest Ed's, take the GO Train to a ball game.
