  1. I think that they are from what I have read about they a really great shock absorber that should also be the last one that you will buy for a vehicle plus the ride and handling is suppose to be great..

  2. the 2008 Acura MDX has that.

it's perfectly fine for a LARGE car. it can make ride and handling too heavy on a small car.

  3. If you mean the damper units with the electromagnetic viscous fluid in them that can be manipulated to be thicker or thinner therefore changing the performance characteristics of the damper, I think it's a fantastic development that has actually been around since the late eighties.

The performance of the damper can be preset to a few different styles, selectable with buttons or suchlike that could be 'comfort', 'sport', and 'race' settings, or the dampers could use motion and acceleration sensors to sense and react to road and driving conditions in real time, thereby becoming 'active' dampers.

They are perfectly tunable to almost any situation, from lightweight racecars, to stretch Hummer limousines. They can be developed for any wheeled vehicle, even bicycles, so saying they are no good for small cars is misinformed and inaccurate.
