Boxing? haha, you should probably list this under baseball to get a variety of responses, but I'll answer anyway.

I think the Manny Ramirez trade will help all teams involved although we won't really know how much it affects the Pirates until those prospects reach the bigs.

The Red Sox get rid of a distraction in Manny Ramirez but get someone new who is just as capable of hitting in Jason Bay.  

The Dodgers add a much needed hitter in Manny and his antics will probably go over pretty well in LA the city of stars so it won't be a big deal.

It was a good trade for Boston, why would you want somebody on your team that doesn't want to play for you. This goes for Griffey too!
