marital woes can often be attributed to men's genetic make-up, according to a study linking a common male gene to relationship problems.

What do you think about that? Is it right?

  1. So glad someone asked because I think it's a load of c**p. I no longer believe everything I read as some of it is so far out there. Not to mention that the study is incomplete. Just what men needed-another excuse to be unfaithful-my genes made me do it! It is also an insult to the good men out there that are willing to put in the time and effort necessary to having a lasting and fulfilling relationship.

  2. i think its upbringing. my bf says i act like a man, im blase, i dont want to cuddle after s*x blah blah blah

  3. Yes, there is a lot of biology involved in men which makes them not good in monogamous relationships.  However, it's the draw of stability and a family which can help them curb those wandering hormones of evolution.  They can control it if they want to...that's the guy you want to find if possible.  Then of course there's just the different ways that men and women approach and solve problems.  Different things that soothe each of them that drives the opposite s*x crazy.  It helps to learn some of the differences so we can understand and live with each other.

  4. ha

    never heard that one before

i'd like to see that study

but, i have to say that more than likely both people are involved when it comes to these issues

  5. There will always be marital 'challenges'

But if both partners work at the relationship...each putting the other's interests first....there need be no woes.

When trials (and woes!) do come it is very rare only one partner is at fault.

  6. All I know is that my husband is just like his dad and he is skating on thin ice right now.  Hubby's parents are divorced so it might be true.
