On the today show Mcain was asked if he had a better estimate of when we can expect a troop withdrawl in Iraq.He responded with

"No, but that's not too important. What's important is the casualties in Iraq. Americans are in South Korea. Americans are in Japan. American troops are in Germany. That's all fine. American casualties and the ability to withdraw."

it sounds like he has no plan to bring the troops home

  1. NO,NO,NO, i am not voting for oshamed.McCain has better plans than bo's "change" garbage.

  2. McCain thinks that if we withdraw troops from Iraq it shows that we have failed.  He is committed to maintaining all of Bush's policies, not just in Iraq but at home.

I have some respect for McCain and if he was running as an independent I might even vote for him.  As it is, though, he is not able (or not allowed) to criticize Bush or distance himself from Bush's policies.  So he can offer us nothing more than four more years of all the same failed policies.

Bush is really out of ideas in Iraq.  If he really had any idea of how to change things, he would back off and try a new strategy.  Instead, all he does is insist that we are winning, that we are making progress, when it's more and more obvious all the time that we are not.  The only new thing he's tried was the 'surge', which only meant raising troop strength temporarily to a level it had been a couple of years earlier.  And that clearly didn't work.  It was only a justification to keep the war going a little longer.

I really think the only strategy the Bush administration has in Iraq is to keep the war going until the Democrats take it out of their hands.  Then for several decades afterwards they will say we were winning in Iraq but the Democrats chose to surrender.

McCain also is committed to this strategy.  He has no new ideas to tell us about. Like Bush, he only insists that we are winning.

  3. I believe McCain is a secret IRA member. He acts according to their main principle. "Whatever you say, say nothing."

  4. When we win, we get our a**es out of there.  That's the way it should be.

  5. IT IS SHEER STUPIDITY TO MAKE KNOWN A TIME TABLE OR A WITH-DRAWL PLAN , IT GIVES THE ENEMY A TIME TO SURVIVE PLAN TO LAY A LITTLE LOW AND THEN COME BACK IN THE LAST HOUR REGROUPED TO CLAIM VICTORY WITH . ONLY A TOTAL MORAN LIKE OBAMA WOULD PLAY INTO THE ENEMY'S BEST INTERESTS AND GIVE OUT SUCH INFORMATION . IN OTHER WORDS BUSH AND MCCAIN ARE TO SMART TO GIVE OUT THAT TYPE OF INFORMATION ---IT'S TOO BAD THE DUMACRATS AREN'T THAT SMART ( BUT IN REALITY THEY ARE TOTAL IDIOTS TO GIVE OUT INFO LIKE THAT AND PANDER TO IDIOT VOTERS )

  6. sounds like he's focused on the objective, rather than "feel good" pandering.....

  7. He will do what's sensible. Obama is unqualified.

  8. he was right on the problem if their were no casualties whats the problem with being in Iraq.

  9. No what he is saying is America has troops all over the wolrd and have had them in many places since WWII and we could have that same commitment to Iraq,  wow people just do not know history anymore.
