What do you think about midwifery?

well i'm starting college next september and want to become a nurse but don't know weather to become a general nurse or a midwife i love babies and looking after them but then theres not a lot of guys who choose to become a midwife and i want to work with men also maybe meet my future husband lol... any experiences? any general nurses? or midwifes who met their husband in work? thanks any advice will do x

Midwifery is a great field.  I am a nurse, and met my husband, who is also a nurse.  There are residents and OB/gyn's that are male.

This is most likely the wrong category.   I recommend you go where you think is right.  I may not know a lot about obstetrics but definitely do what you feel is right.   Consider job shadowing.  Sorry I cannot be more of a help.
