  1. i agree with Old Greg's answer. it really depends what you're capable of achieving, what you have achieved realistically in your mocks and what you're aiming for.

in my opinion if i had received your results, i would be not happy at all if not mortified, but i know it's not fair to judge it like that. you probably are stronger in other areas. different people need to work harder and stuff.

I know alot of public school kids are very happy with passes and Bs, but it depends on your own ideas and standards.

I personally think your grades are fine, but i woudln't want them for myself.

and also got to add getting A*s does'nt mean you dont' have a life. in fact it's the people who over revise and all that dont' even achieve the greatest results!

  2. I'd say good/ average. What have your parents said- although if you are pleased with them, you should be too. My mum said to me: 'Oh, they were fine. You could have done better though.' Then she started telling me that the girl across the road got 5 A's and 5 A*s... Well, I can tell you something she didn't have... a life. Yeah, thanks for that Mum.

  3. Yeah they are good but it all depends on who you are and what you expected to get. I got a B in English and was disappointed when some people will think that I am being stupid and would be really pleased with a B but I was hoping for an A in English.

And to the first answer my friend got 10 A*'s and she DOES have a life. It just comes naturally to some people. We went to several parties during revision time and she still managed to come out top.
