What do you think about my situation?

I went for a interview Tuesday at Taco Bell and the manager said she would call me Thursday . The manager did not call me and i decided to go by Taco Bell to spoke to a manager. When I by the manager , it was a different from the one I had a interview with . She said there was nothing about me , being put on the schedule.

Does this automatically mean I did not get the job.

No, don't assume you haven't gotten the job. Talk to the manager who interviewed you first. Maybe something came up and she didn't even go to work on Thursday? Since she mentioned the actual day she would call you, she likely intended on doing it. It's also possible that she hasn't communicated with the other manager you spoke with, so she may not know what's going on with the hiring candidates. Anything could have happened. Call and talk to the manager who interviewed you.

did the manager say they would "let you know by Thursday if you got the job", or just that they would call you on Thursday?

usually they give you some sort of time line of when they'll make a decision by and thats what they would have told you... so if you havent heard by now, then I'd say you didnt get the job... sorry =(
