My boyfriend is from Spain. He is a sweet funny and energetic guy and none of his family or friends are mean or racist.

Spain is an amazing Country with many different cultures within.

The people are expressive, energetic and social in my humble opinion which is based on all the Spanish people I have worked with in the UK and and friends and family I have met in Spain.

my dad lives in spain and he says their nice people. it depends on the area of spain i think.

That they as a whole are, which came as a surprise to me, some of the worst at speaking english in the whole of Europe. Way worse than the French and Italians, where especially the French have the reputation of sucking hard, and wanting to.

They're cool.  Spain is a dying country, however.  Their birth rate is one of the lowest in the world, slower than China.  If there weren't an immigration surge from the middle east, their population would be dropping significantly.  

Have you ever been there?  It's really beautiful, especially the north west coast.  And the Spanish language is spoken completely differently than it is in Mexico.  It's beautiful - like a song.
