What do you think about people who adopt monkeys and raise them like human babies?

i think that the people often have something wrong with them and that they fail to research what they are doing.  This puts themselves, others, and the monkey in harm.  Most people seem to be insecure and need to have the feeling that something cannot live without them.  I do not understand the logic leap that says, let me bring a wild animal into my house and dress it like it is a doll.

i think that it is really cute beacuse if you cant get pregnant it is just like a baby !

Maybe animal lovers, maybe craving to have their own kids!

Its much better than raising a dog or cat like a human child.

I just hope they know what they're doing. When monkeys reach maturity, depending on the type of monkey, they are much stronger physically than humans - often many times stonger - and if they don't like you or you upset them- Watch Out!  You really have to know monkeys very well and be very wise. And seeing as people who do this are generally idiots it doesn't end well for them or the monkeys

I agree with bruce.  However, if you can do it, that's wonderful.  Animals seem to be inherently less judgmental and very loving.  Good luck, more power to you.
