I once worked with a new immigrant from Iraq - this is to whom you refer when you mention Persians - and he was a very humble, decent and honest man.

He needed help at work and we became friends, I even helped him when he needed to buy a car.

I just met 6 Persians last night.  They came to my restaurant for dinner.  I think that they were very polite, well mannered people.
