  1. Not a good idea. A barrel with a tap on it fair enough.

  2. id say tacky and trashy trailor trash. but then again original idea and if they would like it better then id say DO IT. its your wedding do what ya want that makes ya happy.

  3. My family and friends would think it was the best wedding ever!

  4. Great idea. I would prefer that to wine anyway

  5. You can do it in a very tasteful, classy way.  I think a nice-looking bucket of a fun assortment of microbrews would be totally chic and wedding-appropriate.  Just don't fill up a battered old Corona bucket from Hooters with some cans of Keystone Light, and you'll be fine, LOL.

  6. i really like your idea

at least it will be appreciated

  7. That's a GREAT idea!

    Good luck and Congrats!!

  8. I say go for it I Love that idea wedding are supposed to be different and that is what your doing congrats and have fun.(its your day so just have fun.)

  9. It's fine if a family enjoys beer far more than wine, but do you really want beer out on the tables?  Why not just at the bar?

The idea is way too frat house for me.  Unless the wedding is indeed being held in a frat house (or VFW) I'd just leave the drinks to the bartender.

  10. I'm sure you'll probably hear hear alot of responses about tackiness but I think it's a great idea.  My family likes beer too!

It's your day ~ Have fun!

  11. I like it!!!  I think its totally original, and if people will drink it, why not?

  12. whatever works for you! it's your day, enjoy it!!

  13. no no no, a wine chiller container thing is fine for bottles of wine, but do not put those metal buckets on the tables with bottles of beer.  you'll regret it when you look at your candid wedding photos of the reception

  14. Brilliant idea!!! ...and make the bucket the centre piece...... get some nice silver buckets and bind them in ribbon....lots of ice in and then some beer...ie balloons on aswell if you want.

oh and don't forget to either get s***w tops...or supply a bottel opener!!

    good luck with the wedding.

  15. I think its a great idea! I would definatly do this rather than have a centre piece on the tables. Weddings should be about what you want, not what everyone else had at their wedding

  16. Why not go for it!!, wedding should be original and differant

  17. if beer is that thye l;ike just use a nice buket like stainless steel or soemthing!

  18. Nope, not a good idea, because beer or wine contains alcohol, and drinking alcohol may cause one to get drank.  And I'm sure you dont want to mess your wedding party by having someone drank, and may cause some trouble.

  19. If your family likes beer, then go for it!  I think it's original!  The only thing is, how much beer can you really fit in a bucket?  I would suggest getting a keg instead and putting centerpieces on the tables.  That way, if there are people at your wedding who do not drink, it won't be in their faces, so to speak.

  20. If everyone has different tastes then it's ok, but I'd recommend a few mini-kegs instead, as draught beer is much better than bottled.

  21. h**l,you just gave me an idea.Well the grooms cake is already going to be a beer cake.I mean we're making a big square cookie big enough to fit a six pack of beer in it.We're decorating the cookie with german chocolate icing and the 6 pack of beer is going inside of it.Our families also love beer.Congrats.

  22. I LOVE THAT!!!..put some flowers in it too!

  23. it sounds cool and original.

  24. OMG what a brilliant idea..!!!

  25. Its your wedding and if thats what you want, go for it

  26. Brilliant idea, more original and bet people will love it .
