well ryuzaki, there's quite alot of hypocrites out there in this world...

sometimes they can even come in the 'false representation' of someone who made us feel that we can trust in them and also someone whom we thought we can confide into...  u know like a good trusted friend?

but the next moment before u know it, they can just 'slashed' us with their sharp tongues with the most unimaginable words or stories the exact moment u turn your back...

but... take a good stride from out of this ryuzaki :)  ...by encountering them in our lives, at least we know the way or 'tactic' to handle them... and also 'slash' them back with our firm principles & values...

Agree with Kathy.  

They are among my top pet peeves!  I'd rather have very few true friends than a bunch of hypocrite "friends".  Now, can i be your friend?  I'm no hypocrite.:)

Everyone has a little bit of hypocrisy in them.  People look at it only on the negative perspective but hypocrisy does have a positive side to it.

Parents for example are one of the biggest hypocrite but they need to do that to protect their children from the many ugly truth and not risk losing their love and respect.

Same as applying for a job.  Everybody lie in their CV and a downright hypocrite during the interview but it is “necessary” to secure the job. Some people preach on goodness when they are like angels sitting on a pile of dung but would you tell everyone that and risk losing friendship?

Its ok to be a hypocrite but as the maxim goes, do it moderately.

Hypocrites are people who hide behind masks.  They are pretenders; pretending to be someone they're not.  They have inferiority complex which is why they try to appear snobbish to ward others from getting closer and know their true personality.

Hypocrites are bane to society.
