What do you think about "purity", and "purity rings"?

I was on myyearbook and there is an article about this. And it's all because of a lot of 12-16+ year old girls who saw The Jonas Brothers and Miley Ray talking about it. I too was into when I saw Jessica Simpson talk about this. But I wondered if she would actually last. And she claimed she did. But now she is divorced and most like sleeping with everyone she dates. So now I don't believe celeb's when they say these things. And also I was going to wait till marriage and still will maybe. But it was because I didn't want to get hurt. Well then my cousin got married 6 years ago and she waited till marriage. But last year her husband cheated on her and her regret is ever marrying him. So just because you wait does it truely mean your "safe"? And do you really think it's always worth the wait? Please let me know. I'm just frustrated with celebs and people letting people down. And I want to know peoples opinions on this subject.

If you want to keep a marriage strong you just gotta remember to communicate. Also don't pay attention to celeb marriages since they are the most likely to fail.

First of all, celebs are humans too. If they can let you down so can another human being.

You can only do what is right for you. Not whats right for Miley, not for whats right for Jessica, not whats right for the Secret Life of the American Teenager, only what is right for you.

If you want to hold off having intercourse until you are married, more power to you. In contrast to your cousin, my wife is the only person I ever had s*x with and I am the only person she had s*x with...and we have been married 30 years now.

For me it is and was the right thing. It may not be the right thing for you.

it is not worth the wait because you will prob get your heart broken either way. just because you wait doesnt meant that you are safe. but its all up to you just be sure who you want your first to be
