mine were pretty good, we had a sub line, pizza line, fries and chicken line, mexican line, and then the normal line, for the county school lunch, and we had a bunch of salads, as far as school lunches go, they were pretty good at my school. That is of course, if you ran to lunch so that you got food before the period ended(20 mins including getting there and back to class), and you didn't have the last lunch of the day, cuz then they just started running out, or the food was cold

in middle school, i went anorexic just cuz of the nasty food. there were exploded burritos, frozen milk, and rubber bands in the chicken. NOT SO TASTY!!! when i got to high school, there were WAY more choices and it was healthier and more awesome but kind of expensive. so it really depends on ur school if you like ur school food

I think that they are very unhealthy(well at least at my school they are) one of the main problems that kids are so fat these days is because of school food.

I work in one of biggest school district in U.S.

I think school foods sucks cause from bread to soups  to egges everything is either frozen or comes in the can,or pwoder ,in big quantities ..not much of taste or look or nutrition value...

The worst things I've ever eaten, I swear.

h**l, one time I took one their hot dogs outside and threw it at the ground, it bounced up a mile!

Most of it is really gross and tasteless - the burgers, fries, pizza and pasta. I do like the fresh fruit, veggies and baked cookies though.

We have this pizza that has cardboard stuck to the bottom. Really good with salt.

well my school lunch isnt that bad

i graduated this year 08

and a lot of people who complain about the cafeteria lunch still eat it..

which is what i dont get.

They're disgusting. I have a funny true story about one...

One time they were serving motzarrela sticks. They're supposed to be brown on the outside, right? Ok, these were pale brown- almost white. So my friend goes to take a tray and asks the lunch lady "Are these motzarrela sticks?" She replies "Yes" My friend: "...Are you sure?"

all schools are different like the one i went to the lunch was amazing cuz dey didnt cook it personally they orederd it from a restaurant (different everyday) and popped it in the oven but the school my brother goes to now he says it sucs majorly

ours isnt so bad.. it gets annoying tho.. we have the same stuff every week... but other wise it isnt too bad cuz theres 2 lines and a salad/soup bar

Its not to bad, less than 4 bucks for a cheeseburger, fries, and a soda. 2 pieces of pizza fries and a drink costs about $4.50. Panini's are bit more expensive, its like $5.75 for one and a soda.

Before we started a million dollar renovation to our cafeteria we had school employee food service, and stuff was still pretty good, and prices were even better.
