yes, drill. what can it hurt. the entire colonization of the U.S. involved some environmental impact on our surroundings. Anwr is in the middle of no where and might buy us a few more years of oil production/usage. There is no solution to our energy problems, but this cant hurt.

Which Innocent animal species do think will be affected?  They can send the oil down the Alaskan pipeline and not over water.  It is a win-win scenario.

don&#039;t drill. one of the last pristine-if not the last- enviornments in our country, drilling damages the environment and we need to begin looking for alternative fuel. ...why all the questionmarks and exclamation points.... ?

Drlling in ANWR is not needed.  ANWR only has 11.3 billion barrels of oil, where as in the Dakotas there is a hugh oil reserve in excess of 250 billion barrels of oil.  The BAKKEN Oil Formation has enough oil to last over 200 years.  Plus there is another hugh deposit off AK in the Baltic Sea.

Yes we should.  How else are we going to reduce our dependance on foreign oil?  How many other countries have these resources and don&#039;t allow anyone to get to them?
