  1. I think it's a great option.  There are so many opportunities available when you control your own time.  More time for interacting with a more diverse social group.  More time for experiencing life outside of a classroom.  More time to do what you want.

And... you can learn whatever it is you want, at your own pace.

    :D

  2. Im doin a home beauty therapy course and its really good because you can do it in your own time an if you get stuck you can email them or ring them up and they will help you

  3. It's only good if you don't have time attending formal school and for me it would be a last option. You learn a lot from going to school, esp. socializing with others...having a good time but at the same time learning. You would meet potential friends who sometimes become your lifelong friends. It also teaches you how to be STREET SMART which is as important or even more important than being technically smart. If you learn how people behaves by being with them, you won't get schemed easily.

  4. I've been homeschooled all my life. I thought it was awesome at first, but now that I'm going into grade 10, I'm not so sure. I would like to go to school, because it would be a good experience. But at the same time, I have so much more freedom being homeschooled.

  5. Works for me.

  6. My children love it!  As with anything, there are pros and cons, but for us the benefits far outweigh the negatives.
