the parents are suing the school! can you believe that? i mean im sorry he got shot and everything, no one should discriminate, but that in no way is the school's fault. its your job as the parent to decide what your child can or cannot wear. it seems like the parents just don't won't to take responsibilities for their lack of actions, or inforcement.

  1. He did not deserve to die, but I do wonder why the parents allowed him to go to middleschool dressed like that. I would not love my son any less, but it would save him from so much teasing and I dont want my son to go through that. If he wants to cross dress let him cross dress when he is eighteen-years-old and people are older and more accepting of difference.

Middle school and elementary school is horrible. Some child tried to drown me because I used to be fat. What would they do to this child?? Kill him?? Oh wait...

I am not saying it is the parents fault. It is the fault of the person who killed him.

  2. The person responsible for this innocent child's death is the ignorant low-life who pulled that trigger.

  3. I am not familiar with the case you are talking about but if a student gets shot at school how can you say its the victims parents who are responsible. How about the parent of the kid with the gun or the school for not having better security?

(Mrs. Stop & Stare I do not have to be familiar with the case to understand that you are blaming his parents for his getting shot by allowing him to wear certain clothing.)

  4. The only person responsible for that kid getting shot is the narrow-minded ignorant idiot that pulled the trigger.

  5. If the school got on to him for cross dressing then that would be considered discrimination. I dont believe its the schools fault, I think the parents should sue the killer.

  6. I don't feel the school handled it correctly and i also think the media is misrepresenting it. i am not justifying the boy who killed the other one, but i do feel like people are making this about being g*y when that's not quite the case. the boy who commited the crime was sexually harassed and the boy who was killed perhaps overly flaunted his flamboyance on purpose for attention (if that makes sense). I feel like they both came from very difficult situations and my sympathies go to both of the families.

  7. "its your job as a parent to decide what your child can or cannot wear"

by that you are justifying what happened that that boy and there is really no justyfication. i dont care of he was wearing a short dress , high heels, a wig, and lipstick HE DID NOT DESERVE TO DIE! no matter what he was wearing.
