  1. sumbody eh get dey cut. Daz how de mark buss. This ting goin on looooong friggin time

  2. I think it is really unfortunate. I am sorry for the innocent Trinidadians who have to do it over. The results are coming out August 16th .How are you going to get them to universities overseas on time? Or are you going to UWI ?

  3. ah feelin it for the family of d boy dat committed suicide. People have to be more conscious of how their actions affect other people. some people just out to make a profit no matter who it hurt.

it real unfortunate dat all dem students ha to be penalized

  4. It is a bunch of corruption if you ask me .

Why reinvent the wheel... they should have left things the way it was . Only thing I can see is that they are playng with young people's future .

  5. I think nothing of it.

This is not the first time this has happened.

    This happens almost every year.

When I did cxc o'levels in ancient times, a particular presigious school in north east trinidad always had acces to papers and labs that were coming for the exam.

Because of this everyone whanted to go for lesson by a  famous teacher  who taught in that very same school.

The only difference now is that someone had the testicles to actually raise a flag.

If I were doing cape now, I would be the happiest student on the planet!

You see,  I always study last minute.

This situation would have allowed to actually get some serious study time.

  6. unfortunately, hard working students must now pay for those parents who encouraged their children in being dishonest by buying leaked exam papers for them.

at $5000 a paper there is no way that a school child was able to purchase these papers by themselves.

why didnt we as parents encourage our children to study hard, and inform the ministry and police that X,Y or Z is offering to sell papers to students?  no!  we give them d cash and tell them study the papers good.

and whats sad about it is, you walk out of exams only to be told that you may have to re-write that subject...after you just put everything you had into ensuring that you made a good pass.  just adding more stress to already stressed out students.

PS.  did you know taht a student in Toco killed himself over having to re-write these exams?  (ok, its alleged that the stress from having to re-write the exam caused him to take his own life.)

because of parents with no scruples.

If i had gone home and told my mother something like that when i was doing A's, my mother woulda quarrel with me, get all the info, quarrel with me, call the ministry, quarrel with me, give the ministry the info as to who selling the papers, quarrel with me, tell meh grandmother, meh grand parents woulda quarrel with me, and meh grandmother woulda pull the Bible and show meh scriptures where cheating never paid off, make meh kneel down and pray etc etc etc while meh grandfather and my mother quarrelled.

i pass A's the hard way, i study, went lessons and study some more. cause i could live without all that drama.

  7. i was surprised!

not for the fact that it was being done but for the fact that it was actually put out to the public so openly.

where can school children get $5000 for one paper?

parents an teachers definatley had a hand in this.

parents pay so that their child, gets a good job, university etc..

teachers also have nothing to lose but gain a good reputation for their student having the best of grades..

makes u now wonder how many high profile professionals are now really an truly equipped to do their job..

    always remember...

"Certification does not always mean Education"

    "Money can get u Anywhere"

  8. I think it was an incredibly sad situation. What is the world coming to? What I cannot understand is: where were these students getting $5,000 to purchase one paper? The only likely scenario is that an adult or many adults were involved. Possibly parents who want their children to succeed by any means possible (even by dishonest means). That is what disgusts me....when in fact there are many honest youths out there who now have to pay the price for a couple dishonest, low people. A perfect example of the unfair rule, "Peter pay for Paul and Paul pay for all."
