Has anyone went on the Carnival Cruise from Florida to the Caribbean and then back to Orlando Florida? And has anyone brought a year and half baby with them?

  1. Best trip ever, lots of fun and sun....I hope you have a great time!  My 4 year old wanted to move onto the cruise :-)

    fyi...Carnival's One Day Sale!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS! Carnival will be hosting a one day sale on May 1st, 2008 with sailings starting as low as $279 and with a 2 category upgrade on most sailings! Be sure to click for details on this fantastic offer!

  2. Carnival cruises are fantastic! I was in the Caribbean a month a go and it was extremely pretty and warm! I am not sure what you want to get out of the cruise. If you are looking for a more "adult experience" I would recommend going without your child. Otherwise, bringing them along would be okay. There is chlid care if you wish to take advantage of that. Good luck!

  3. It really all depends on which ship you went on. I just got off the Carnival Freedom, and had a great time. But this couple we met there told us about their experience on the Carnival Triumph- and they said the ship was old and filthy. Ewww. But on the Freedom, the staff was very friendly (s**y James rox!!!), the ports were beautiful, and the activities were fun and memorable. I went to St. Thomas, Half Moon Cay, San Juan, Grand Turk, all beautiful.

  4. the cruise lines have sitters for little one wen you make arraignments ask the representative= Carnival is one of the best and they are accommodating

  5. I have heard negative feedback abotu carnival ships. My aunt went on one with her family and said the food made her sick and was very mediocre. Her daughter was bored and that the ships were not very clean. She went on another carnival cruise after she complained and got 500$ onboard credit. She was pleasantly suprised at the difference. She said it realy depends on the ship. But she also added all in all that carnival is a more budget oriented cruise line.

  6. I went on a Carnival cruise to the Bahamas. I'm from OH...we had to fly to Florida. It was a FUN cruise...I'm pretty sure it's family oriented too because I saw quite a few kids and there is a  little area for them, but I am not sure if bringing a 1 1/2 year old is a good idea because there aren't any daycares (not that I know of).

Anyways, the cruise had karaoke nights, bars, casinos, performances (comedy, dance, etc), clubs, pools, open buffet, breakfast in the morning and dinner at night (DELICIOUS! the waiters kept bringing us lobsters!). I had lots of fun...I want to go again,

We all got seasick the first day! UGhhhh...they also have like a mini convenient store and they also sell expensive alcohol for CHEAPER prices....a lot cheaper. LOL

  7. Carnival is great for families, although I really do not see too many 1.5 year olds. There is a lot of entertainment for people of all ages, and food galore. Beaches are beautiful and staff is very friendly.
