  1. I own a 2005 Dodge GRAND Caravan & I love it!  Prior to this van I owned a 1997 Dodge Caravan - ok here is something I learned for you to consider.  In the caravan you do not have much room in the very back for luggage, groceries, etc. the Grand Caravan offers you more storage room.  I have 3 kids, so the addition in space back there has been great!  I don't know if the one you are looking at has stow & go seating or not - but mine does & I LOVE it!!! My old van I had to take out the heavy seats at the house & find a place to store it to add more space, now, I can be at the store & purchase something large & just flip the seats down & create space in seconds - love it!!!! Hope this helps ya - good luck!

  2. It's a decent vehicle, I sell a lot of them. They are dependable and inexpensive to repair compared to chevy or ford. The price depending on the model is good. They are ranging from 10,5 to 13,5 even at loan price , which is what a bank will lend you is slightly higher than what you are paying. Dodge and most chrysler products do have a consistent problem as we have found out, that is the trans is not the best in the world, and they do tend to smoke if they idle a long time. The best engine we have found, with the least problem is the 3.0 l, it's good on gas and reliable. The bigger engine is really not that much more powerful and the gas mileage is not as good. Usually, when you buy a vehicle you would normally think a small engine is better than the available larger engine. The fact of the matter is in general, usually the larger engine is normally better on gas because the vehicle is only slightly heavier, so the small engine has to work harder to make it move, so in this case the smaller engine is better, but usually the larger engine, like in the chevy or fords the larger engine gets better gas mileage. The one thing you will like as I have found out, Chrysler isn't big on body style  changes so their vehcile don't look dated as the chevy or fords.

  3. well: it is very important  with Car Makes  absolutely ok  because

that Answers Cars & Transportation  also  yes i know this years

    2008 Dodge Pickup

  4. personally i dont like the brand Dodge, i would advice buying a japaness car they been making cars for so long and they have the tecnology, and there cars lasts long time, Dodge doesn,t have any tec. in it and wont last as long

  5. as for me, I really do not like most of the Dodge's vehicles specially the caravan because it is said that there is trouble with the engine and transmission. of course they might look pretty but you would not want to waste money. If you really want that van, just take GOOD care of it and offer less money.

  6. they are a high maintenance vehicle.

i'd say you'd be better served with a Honda or Toyota, but the truth is that to get those miles for that money you'd be looking at a 2000... which would be just as high of maintenance as the Caravan, but with fewer amenities.

if that's what you have to spend, it's a decent deal.  offer 8K though...

  7. their good vehicles, dodge was the first to ever really come out with good version of a mini van,and the newer model ones hold up really well, the only known complaint on most of them is the transmissions, people would run them to long without having them serviced and then when they go out they wonder why, other than that they are a very dependable vehicle with lots of room for family, when they was designed and built the was intended for family use and they have also been one of the best selling mini vans ever built, that one has very low miles on it and would probably make you a really good van,but have it checked before you buy it just to make sure it doesn't have any hidden problems, good luck.

  8. It is a great van as we just bought a 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan ($96,000 miles) for $4500.  It is in mint condition... paint still looks like new, one owner vehicle.  I love all the room and ride is smooth.  They are excellent vehicles if you take care of changing oil every 3,000 miles and using the best synthetic oil.  There are people that complain of transmission problems... but as I said if you take care of the van, maintenance should be minimal.  My husband drove caravans (company vehicle) for 9 years and never had any major problems with it. Though in-town mileage for the past few days has been 16 mpg; I had hoped for better in-town mileage. Good Luck!

  9. I have a 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan. I love it. It really has more space than I need. But I love it for going on vacations or trips to the zoo. My son has a big wagon that we like to take(Step 2 Safari Wagon) and it would never fit in a car. My in-laws gave it to us so we didn't pay for it but it has 160,000 miles on it and has given us no major problems. Most of those miles come from 2 family vacations a year since 2001 when the inlaws bought it. I can only imagine the 2005 is even better. My son loves being able to sit up high enough to see out the windows. He couldn't when we drove the car. My in-laws bought a 2007 last year and it is really nice. I think dodge has a great vehicle for families.
