What do you think about the Florida Marlins?

They are a very young team with alot of very good talent. One of the keys is that with every deal they make, they have gotten a good player in return. It seems every 5-6 years, they construct a team with some of the bests prospects in baseball.

By trading Josh Beckett and Mike Lowell, they got Hanley Ramirez and Anibal Sanchez. By trading Carlos Delgado, they got Mike Jacobs and Matt Lindstrom. When they traded  Juan Pierre, they got Ricky Nolasco

They stole Dan Uggla in the rule 5 draft. They got Kevin Gregg from the Angels. They picked up Jorge Cantu in free agency, he was only two years removed from a breakout year in Tampa Bay.

They have great prospects like Jeremy Hermida and Josh Johnson.

They might win the Divison if they get anohter starting pitcher.

i think they're going to end up falling out of the nl east race...the phillies and mets are just too good for them to keep up, even though the marlins have done a great deal without a lot to show for it on the payroll

They're very inconsistent - hit or miss right now.  Ugla's a headcase now after his all star game debacle.

im a marlins fan muh self. i love watching them play even the braves took 2 out of 3 the marlins are still a very good team. they have the best power hitters in the game right now and thats why they are leading the league in homers. the marlins are going to play the cubs and the marlins are going to sweep them like they always do.

im very entertained by them every year, always seem to have one of the best players/pitchers in the league. this year its remirez, laast couple years willis and cabrera. hope to see them be the front runner in their division in a couple years

but hate their stadium.

What some people don't understand about the NL east as a whole, is that all three contenders have all been inconsistent. This gives the Marlins a good shot at winning the division (1 game out of first) and people still want to waive this team off. I love watching this team,they are fun to watch. They are one or two pitchers away from possibly overcoming any other problems to address. They have had interest in Brian Fuentes and have Anibal Sanchez coming back. They beat the Phillies 2 out of 3 and lead the season series, so why not? They play the Cubs in a four game series and the Cubs are struggling plus Wrigley field is a great park to rediscover their batting game. Anyone who 100% says this team has no chance at winning the East, doesn't know much about the marlins.

Right now I hope they go into a slump against the Cubs because thats my team!  But, I dont mind them  i LOVE Hanley Ramirez  hes awesome  and Dan Uggla  and Jeremy Hermida   There team is pretty good.
