Do you think that the whalers are right in saying that Australia protesters are wrong or right in saying "Such action should be condemned as an inhumane terrorist attack." when Two anti whalers borered the ship??

I think that The Japanese are wrong, especially when they hunt outside of their own waters.

  1. All this talk is a waste of time. Why don't they just sink the protesters' boats? I've never understood how protesters in a little boat can interfere with a much larger one; just run over it.

  2. I agree with you.  We should stop whaling.

    Harleigh Kyson Jr.

  3. I think the international community should get involved in banning Japan to continue poaching the now endangered whales and to fine them heavily, instead of allowing them to jail protesters!

They are fishing all the large and beautiful fishes all over the globe like they own it.

  4. Disgusting barbarians. I mean the Japanese. In a time or mass murder of wildlife by dictatorial governments, they should know better. They don't need the meat; and they can't have it. The Greenpeace ad Australians are morally correct.

When governments fail to act ethically, protest is all that's left to the good people.

  5. Obviously the Japanese should not be whaling. What do I think about the protesters? I think that they are heroes and at least they have got the guts to stand up for what they believe in. At least they are willing to 'do' something. Let everyone debate if their actions are right or wrong because at least they have brought the issue into peoples living rooms. I suggest that anybody who is against the protesters has never stood up for anything.

BTW I have seen heaps of whales and every time it has been an amazing experience

  6. green peace asked for $100.00 donation world wide so they can speed around on water, living the good life

  7. I'm all for the Aussie efforts to stop Japan.

I think it's time we drop the economic hammer on Japan and boycott them across the board!

There is even a neat website (see link below) called "Boycott Japan" that has some detailed and interesting information on how to boycott products from Japan and get the anti-whaling message to these people.

I'm not an advocate of anyone going to extreme measures to enforce (no matter how right, just and humane) an act on another society.

In this case though I'm sick of the arrogance and disregard Japan displays to the world (be it historical revisionism in the atrocities they committed in WWII or whaling) that I think heavy handed measures should be taken.

I'd be thrilled to see the world's navies intercept these whaling ships, order the crews off, haul them into ports and scrap them.

The stance that this is a "cultural" aspect of Japan's society is a joke. These are the same people that used s*x slaves for the army as late as WWII.

  8. The protesters are clearly terrorists and pirates under international law and should be treated as such.  The Japanese have every right to hunt for food.  How is what they are doing any different than fishing?
