What do you think about the Martha Josey Million Dollar Bit and the Short Shank Combo Copper Mouth?

I'm looking for a new barrel bit i just use a wonder bit right now which is a type of gag, i really just want to try a couple of more bits to see... any suggestions****

Frankly, I've been to some of Martha's clinics, and she seems to me to be less HYPE and more common sense "GIT ER DONE" kind of lady.  If she puts her name on it, I would trust it...now, only you know your horse and what is appropriate for it.  You could email her and tell her what is going on and she would probably advise you on what bit you should try...she is very down to earth and a very nice lady...not to mention, one heck of a hand!

I love the million dollar bit. I have never used the other one though. I also like Sharon Camarillo bits. You should look into those too.

I think it's a right nasty looking bit!

I've always had great success with the Wonder bit for contesting.  Perhaps if you mentioned what you're trying to do with it - more whoa, less shoulder drop, whatever - we could give more specific advice.
