What do you think about the Roswell UFO incident?

I know the government says that it was a classified weather balloon experiment called Project Mogul. Since then it has been declassified but it does not explain everything. The farmer who found it and the people who helped recover it said there where bodies in the wreckage. Also some of the foil was said to reform to normal if you crumpled it up. I'm not sure about the last part but it was said. Also there is a well that a lot of the wreckage was dumped in that can not be searched. Supposably the owners won't let them look but who wouldn't want to become part of history if it is alien wreckage. To me everything sounds like a coverup and I'm going to try to get the information with the Freedom of Information Act. I know that it will just say it was project mogul but Ive heard that some of it is blacked out and I want to see if that is true.

Something very strange happened there, exactly what we'll probably never know. But if you read through the literature on the subject, it's certainly compelling.

Lets face a few fact here, There are people that still have the original news paper that states that an alien space-craft did crash in Roswell... And there are just to many death bed confession that state that yes an alien craft did crash at Roswell, and that several alien bodies were recovered.... The real fact here is that a cover up has taken place and the government is lying........ Now what the people have to do is find out why our government thinks that the American people are not capable of handling the truth..... But I have read a copy of the news paper article And I have listen to a copy of that radio announcement that a alien craft has crashed at Roswell..... So it is possible to travel such a long distances to visit this earth..............

Much nonsense accumulates around such tales as this. Some people love to believe something, and the sillier it is, the better. The government told several tales to cover up Project Mogul. Then, the Lunatic Fringe confused the issue much more with wild tales that have no basis. Scientists have refuted this nonsense many times, but some people do not want to accept logic in such matters. There are books about this. I suggest that you look at both sides of any issue before you form a firm opinion. Any planet that might have intelligent life is too distant for its creatures to come here. I had a discussion with a girl who wanted to believe this "kuso". She created quite a snow job of irrelevant data and fantasy, e.g. saying I am unaware of dark matter and energy. I read science magazines and books regularly, so I know much more about all that than she ever will, and it is irrelevant in the matter. At the speed of light, inertia and thus mass, in effect, become infinite, so no material object can approach the speed of light. It is also squashed totally flat. The nearest star to our sun is Proxima Centauri. Light takes 4.3 years to travel to Earth from it. It has no known planets, but if it had one identical to earth, and a spaceship left it at escape velocity, it would take 106,448 years to reach us and another 106,448 years to return home. since PC has no planets, a ship from a star with planets would take even longer. The believer said ET's go through wormholes and bend the fabric of space-time. If a ship could do all that and crashed here, the titanic forces unleashed would destroy Earth and probably Mars and venus, if they were at perihelion with Earth. My suggestion is to study science and stop wasting time on nonsense that says ET's crashed at Roswell. Scientists know better.

I think the Air Force had something Top Secret and Terrestrial to cover up, and letting all the crazies think that what they were really covering up was an extra-terrestrial space ship crash was an inspired way to do it.

If everybody thought they were covering up something alien, then nobody would think to look for an earthly explanation.  So, they more they denied the alien incident, the louder the crazies screamed that they were covering up an alien incident, and the real incident got absolutely no attention whatsoever.

The Air Force just let the crazies do the cover-up work for them.

Although I believe aliens exist and follow a lot of UFO stories.

This is a good time to remind people UFO = Unidentified Flying Object.

It is an UNKNOWN object.

This does NOT instantly mean its an Alien from Another Planet! It just means they couldn't tell what it is! A huge chunk of UFO's have easily been debunked as explainable things. Not all mind you, just a big chunk of them.

Now back on subject.

Chances are with all the c**p that has been done in regards to Roswell, I'd safely say it was a Government experiment. If it was a balloon and dumies or not, I dunno. Roswell is a testing facility, there are many prototypes there. It is MORE likely that it was a Gov experiment. The number of soldiers deployed and the number of witnesses constantly changes back and fourth. Some stories are the same while many are not.

Something you need to think about is this. Whatever the general American public knows, our enemies know. This is why they keep so much stuff as top secert until many years down the road.

They mark out lots of sections of declassified top secert papers. This does not mean it pertains to something such as aliens. It merely means it contained information that still, to this day, does not need released. Besides, if they were going to bluntly talk about aliens I highly doubt they'd ever write "aliens" or "beings from another planet" etc. They would have a secert code word for them, something that you'd overlook without much of a 2nd thought.

Things I want explained are stuff like the stuff Alexander The Great described in his journal, large scale battles in the sky between different objects. Evidence from the past on aliens. No, I don't mean the easily explained stuff. But some of its not that easy to explain.

Edit: miyuki & kyojin: So you know. Humans have devised a theory on how to travel faster than the speed of light. The actual scientific community accepts this theory as the best probability on space travel. If you yahoo/google it they've released this info recently within the last month. It's a rather interesting theory and would effectively work. The problem is, we humans, do not currently have the means to produce the energy it would need to create the "bubble" around the ship. So if we're just figuring it out, that doesn't mean someone else hasn't before. To add some OoOoo to this fact, several conspircy nuts and "abductees" have mentioned before this info was EVER released ( by years infact) by the scientific community that space travel was described by certain alien races as a "bubble" around their ship.
