Question:

What do you think about the Springbok's 2nd team destroying the Welsh team?

Admittedly Wales had many injuries before the game.

Yet, they ARE 6 Nations champions and home to the cradle of rugby. And the Boks didn't field exactly their strongest team.

What are your views on the difference between Southern and Northern hemisphere rugby teams?

  1. It wasn't there 2nd team you KnobJockey!

and I was happy to see Wales lose horribly to the Boks

  2. First off i dont think wales were good enuf to win the grand slam! Southern Hemisphere is far superior anyway so it was expected!

  3. A disgrace and I hope the Welsh team can improve before the next test.

  4. It's hard to win in South Africa.  Wales are a great team and had  loads of injuries.

A closer game would have been better.

Southern Hemisphere teams have a hard time when they travel

  5. that wasn't a completely 2nd string team of the springboks but it wasn't their best team, they were missing schalk burger, fourie du preuz, enrico januarie and jaque fourie. they had a third string scrum half playing, victor matfield and percy montgomery on the bench, there were two debuts made by andries bekker and brian majati, andrian jacobs made a come back to the squad after a 5 year absense, frans. steyn wasn't even on the bench, conrad jantjies made a come back to the sqaud after 2 years, chavanga made a come back also after 2 years, bolla condradie (the scrum half) made his come back over a two year absense as well as luke watson and pierre spies who hadn't played sprinboks since before the world cup, and they still owned wales lol... wales were pathetic, only 5 of the sprinboks that played in the world cup final played in the starting team of yesterday for the springboks.

yes it wasn't the best team wales could have yield but it was shocking to see how they played.. the wales had more caps, making them more experienced than the springbok side and they weighed 60kg's more in the scrums than the springboks.... no excuses 4 wales both sides had there disadvantges but the springboks managed theirs better

  6. Well Wales were hit with a lot of injuries but I didn't expect them to be beaten by that much.

Like I said on another question, South Africa are world champions, and they showed why yesterday.

There will always be a big difference between the Northern and Southern hemisphere teams. Generally the southern hemisphere have players that are built bigger and faster than northern hemisphere players and so always have the advantage.
