I want to know about the Sri Lanka team. What do you think about the Sri Lanka team in ICC World Cup 2011? Please let me know.

In a peculiar reversal of their 1996-triumph when they had one of the best batting sides, today they have one of the worst. Not a good thing at all for a sub-continental World Cup and their inability to absorb pressure makes them vulnerable even more. But their bowling is bizarrely at the other end of the spectrum the best.

Moreover, they have an experienced side, and have always been a greater force at home, which is where they will play most of their matches. Should reach the semis, but won't be a great surprise if they're knocked out earlier.

Top order looks strong but the middle order doesn't seem to have the glamour of the 96 middle order. But 2 talented allrounders in Mathews and Perera have the ability of changing any game on it's head. Bowling looks good and economical but doesn't seem to have the spice. A top contender for the cup.
